We provide enterprise software to the world’s leading Finance, Travel, Advertising, and Gaming companies. Our solution enables companies to run their compute workloads faster on a smaller compute foot-print with 0 effort. The Solution Engineer will work with customers to make that magic happen.

The Solution Engineer will serve as a technical expert and advisor throughout the sales and onboarding process, including technical consulting, sales support and implementation, and customs requirements definition. As the face of our technology to prospects and clients, the successful candidate must showcase both a customer mindset as well as technical expertise. The Solution Engineer is a member of the product & sales teams and must be able to work seamlessly with Sales, Product, and R&D.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
  • Be our customer’s most trusted advisor by realizing Granultae’s value propositions and platform capabilities to achieve their business outcomes.
  • Own the technical installation, validation, and benchmark analysis phases of the sales cycle and provide a proactive approach in showcasing customers Granulate’s value.
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the relevant technologies – Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) Containerization (K8S, Docker), Big Data.
  • Work closely with the Product & R&D teams to understand and influence the product development roadmap, and be able to translate that roadmap into language that can be understood by clients & prospects.
REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience as a solution engineer/solution architect/pre-sale.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based solutions with proven experience in selling Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development/DevOps.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and well organized, comfortable working independently, and have the technical aptitude to learn new technologies.
  • Must be a self-starter comfortable working in a startup environment.
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 30% of the time.
